Eligibility

Number of students admitted

The annual number of students admitted is set at a maximum of thirty-five (35) postgraduate students.

Categories of inductees

Categories of candidates who can be accepted to attend the Postgraduate Program are: Holders of first cycle degrees from domestic universities and recognized equivalent institutions abroad (par. 1, 7 and 8 of article 34 of Law 4485/2017).

1. In particular, the Postgraduate Program is addressed to graduates of Departments of Medical Schools, Nursing, Pharmacy, Biology of Universities in Greece or equivalent

Foreign institutions, as well as graduates of University Departments or Technological Educational Institutes of Greece or equivalent foreign institutions, of a related subject.

2. Greek Members of the categories E.E.P., E.DI.P. and E.T.E.P., if they meet the requirements of the first subparagraph of para. 1 of article 34 of Law 4485/2017, can be registered as supernumeraries and only one per year per Postgraduate Program, organized in Departments of the Institution they serve, which Postgraduate Program is relevant to the degree and the work they perform at the respective Institution.

3. Postgraduate Diploma is not awarded to a Greek student whose first cycle degree from a foreign institution has not been recognized by the Interdisciplinary Organization for the Recognition of Academic Qualifications and Information

Information (D.O.A.T.A.P.), according to Law 3328/2005 (A’ 80).

4. Final year students of the above-mentioned Departments may also apply for the Postgraduate Program, provided that they have graduated before the approval of the final list of candidates, who are admitted to the Postgraduate Program.
